What you’ll do on the team
As a Senior Finance Systems Project Manager at Avvale, you will lead the successful delivery of EPM projects from inception to completion. You will manage cross-functional delivery teams, engage with stakeholders at all levels, and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication, risk management, and issue resolution. This role demands a balance of technical EPM delivery expertise, leadership acumen, and exceptional client-facing skills.
You will be responsible for:
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, fostering trust, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
Leading all phases of the project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
Developing detailed project plans that align with client goals and internal capabilities
Proactively identifying and managing project risks, dependencies, and escalations to avoid disruption and ensure success
Building strong working relationships with client stakeholders, project sponsors, and internal delivery teams
Leading the team toward clear objectives and driving accountability for deliverables
Managing budgets, timelines, scope, and quality standards with precision
Measuring project performance and reporting on key metrics using appropriate tools and systems
Ensuring proper project documentation, status updates, and communication flows
Continuously improving delivery methodologies and participating in the evolution of project management best practices
Supporting change management and scope control, ensuring alignment with client priorities and contractual obligations
What you’ll bring to the team
7+ years of experience managing EPM or complex software implementation projects, preferably in consulting or client-facing environments
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage senior client stakeholders, with strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated expertise managing project scope, budgets, timelines, and risk plans effectively
Functional knowledge of EPM solutions such as SAP SAC, Pigment and OneStream
Experience leading Hybrid Agile delivery models, including use of tools like Jira, Rally, or equivalent
High emotional intelligence and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Hands-on experience with software development and implementation (preferred but not required)
PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications (preferred but not required)

Base salary range: 140 - 175k Base + Discretionary annual bonus potential based on company and individual key performance indicators.
