NS Agro's Strategic Shift from ERP to RISE with SAP to achieve operational excellence and foster a more sustainable business model

The holding provides a range of products and services to support crop protection and plant nutrition, offering fertilizers, seeds, and agricultural machinery. The Challenge

As part of its innovation roadmap, NS Agro underwent a necessary infrastructure change to enhance the management and security of its systems. Opting to migrate its SAP ERP Suite on HANA platform from a different provider was crucial to minimizing costs, energy consumption, and reducing its carbon footprint.
 
This marked the first step towards the overarching goal of this phase: the migration to RISE with SAP, positioning NS Agro to fully capitalize on the benefits of digital transformation.

The Approach

After evaluating various options, the SAP migration solution under the RISE with SAP methodology emerged as the most suitable for NS Agro.

The migration process had to consider several variables, including security, data integrity, and execution times. Thanks to a tight timeframe and a condensed schedule, the complete migration of their ERP ecosystem was successfully completed in just two months.

Through a collaborative effort, the teams at Avvale and NS Agro successfully migrated communication configurations (integrations, interfaces, web services, billing, e-commerce, etc.) within the RISE with SAP ecosystem.

The client not only enjoyed a shorter project timeline and reduced time to value,  but also benefited from opportunities for users to understand the implications of SAP's standard functionality.

Emphasizing data centralization and standardization played a pivotal role in optimizing processes and facilitating quality reporting. To ensure the successful adoption of the new systems, we guided the client through user training, user adoption, and change management, enabling the team to better prepare for system changes and comprehend their impact on daily business operations.
