TIVIT Migrates Its Budget, Planning and Control Solution to the Cloud and Increases Operational Efficiency

TIVIT is a Brazilian multinational digital solutions company with operations in ten Latin American countries. The company supports its clients in the evolution of their business through digital solutions divided into four business lines: Digital Business, Cloud Solutions, Digital Payments, and Technology Platforms.

The Challenge

Recognized for its deep knowledge in complex processes and critical operations, TIVIT has built a history of successful competitive differentials such as pioneering, operational excellence, and consultative approach. With more than 25,000 employees among 17 offices in Brazil, TIVIT manages strategy and operations for over 1,200 clients. Given the magnitude of their company, it’s a necessity to have an extensive infrastructure to enable scalability, reliability, and data security.

To set the scene: During 2012 in the financial sector, there were two billion transactions through Direct Automatic Debit (DDA) and more than 15 billion credit and debit card transactions. Every day, more than 1,500 new establishments are accredited to a major company in the credit card market. TIVIT provides software development and support services for 35 countries, with a diverse set of clients, including banks, insurance providers, credit card companies, utilities, and retail, among others.

The Approach

Since 2013, TIVIT had been using an on-premise planning tool. While the solution was sufficient in the past, it did not provide the agility and autonomy of a cloud environment. Additionally, several applications were created with obsolete information. Consequently, this motivated TIVIT to explore options that offer a robust systemic solution that is capable of serving multiple departments within the company in order to unify their processes and create efficient workflows.

The Impact

With the cloud implementation, TIVIT was able to reduce their costing process from three days to two, increase data accuracy, and grant more autonomy to their team. The company now depends less on support and can make more informed decisions using optimized data analysis. Workflows have been streamlined, giving management more time to focus on planning and budget control. The system also allows for scenario simulations, ad-hoc analysis and queries, and integration with other solutions.

The costing module now runs efficiently and HR budgets can be done on the same platform. This migration to the cloud ensures better performance, centralization, and data security. Users can now create optimized budget and forecast processes, which eliminates manual processes and prioritizes governance, auditing, and security practices. These factors provide a strong foundation for TIVIT to achieve immediate results and open up new opportunities for growth.
